It has been awhile since I have written anything on the blog, but my plans for this year is for me to keep it going.  I plan to take pictures of things within my classroom and post them on here so that my parents can see what we are doing in class.

I am so excited about the upcoming school year.  Yes the summer did go by extremely fast, but I do look forward to working with my students this year.

We are completing the last of our assessments during this week and I will be contacting parents for parent-teacher conferences.  We will discuss your Superstar's progress thus far.

We are off to a great start in kindergarten this year.  The assessments went well and I will be meeting with parents shortly to discuss your child's results.  I look forward to our full days of kindergarten during our second week of school.  Remember, dismissal is at 3:00 p.m. and we will try to find ways to help us to remember our dismissal numbers.  Thanks for all that you do.

I am extremely excited about the start of a new school year.  I pray that everyone has had a safe summer and enjoy a productive and wonderful 2012-2013 school year. 

This week, our kindergarten students will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. for kindergarten assessments.  Parents, please review our class testing schedule for your child's testing date.  Please also provide a snack for your child on his or her assessment day.

I hope that everyone is enjoying their summer.  It appears that my district will have a longer summer.  I pray that we can go back into the classroom to teach on August 20, just keep us in your prayers.
